Rain, snow, hail and thunderstorms as the weather radars see them, refreshed every five minutes and wrapped on a live 3D globe, together with official weather warnings and storm tracks.
Blue and green show light rain or snow; yellow and orange moderate to heavy rain; red and magenta very heavy rain, hail or severe thunderstorms. Radar measures how much the beam is reflected by precipitation, so colours show intensity, not rainfall totals.
The United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico from the NOAA/NWS radar mosaic, and Germany and its borders from the Deutscher Wetterdienst. Official weather warnings for Europe and the US are always on the globe as well.
