Privacy Policy

Earth Live respects your privacy. You can use the entire live globe without an account. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and we never see your card details.
Who we are
Earth Live ("we", "the service") is operated by Filip Slovenec, based in Zagreb, Croatia. For any privacy question, contact filipslovenec.pr@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Nothing, if you just browse. The free globe works with no account and no personal data.
- Account data — if you sign up: your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase). We never store passwords in plain text.
- Your settings — saved places, alert rules, preferences and notifications you create, so we can sync them to your account.
- Payment data — if you subscribe, payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. We only keep your plan status and Stripe customer id.
- Location — only if you tap "Near Me", your browser shares your coordinates for that request to show local conditions. We do not store your location.
- Anonymous analytics — we use privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic. It does not identify you.
How your data is used
Only to provide the service: authenticate you, sync your settings, deliver alerts you asked for, and process your subscription. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data for advertising.
When you probe a location
When you tap a point or search a place, those coordinates are sent to public data providers (Open-Meteo, USGS, NASA, NOAA, BigDataCloud) to fetch conditions for that spot. No account information is sent — only the coordinates or search term.
Processors we rely on
- Supabase — accounts and database (EU-hosted), protected by row-level security
- Stripe — subscription payments (PCI-DSS compliant)
- Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Our analytics are cookieless. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, or to make any request, email filipslovenec.pr@gmail.com and we'll action it promptly.
Data retention & security
We keep account data only while your account is active. Data is protected in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, with database access restricted per-user by row-level security.
Children
Earth Live is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
